Haritha is a bright 28-year-old student at the Government College of Garla, pursuing a B.A. in Education to become an English teacher She is incredibly bright, well-spoken, and her face lights up when she talks about her ambitions. Haritha obtained a degree to be a Telugu medium (teacher) in her teens, but was denied a job twice - first due to falling short by half a point on a qualifying exam, and then again because she was passed over for an older man who got the position as it was his last allowed attempt for a post. Discouraged, she did not return to education for 7 years, getting married and having two sons in the meanwhile. With the encouragement of the headmistress, she returned to school to get a bachelor’s degree, this time to be an English medium. Now she is at the top of her class getting ready to graduate, even while working a job and caring for her family. Help Haritha get a second chance at her goals by sponsoring her exam coaching!
